Boulevard of the stars opened in Berlin

Just like Hollywood also Berlin now has a boulevard of stars where famous film technicians are eternalized with a star. Regulating mayor of Berlin Klaus Wowereit (SPD) cut the golden band on friday at the Meile at Potsdamer Platz.
A bouquet of red baloons bubbled up of each of the 40 stars. Numerous celebrities participated at the party, among them the new stars:
Doris Dörrie, Wim Wenders, Dominik Graf and Armin Mueller-Stahl.
The German "Walk of Fame" is dedicated to all active film technicians. More honored people are:
Mario Adorf, Wolfgang Petersen, Romy Schneider, Hildegard Knef, Bruno Ganz, Götz George, Fatih Akin, Senta Berger, Frank Beyer, Bernd Eichinger, Anke Engelke, Eberhard Fechner,
Martina Gedeck, Jutta Hoffmann, Emil Jannings, Klaus Kinski. Siegfried Kracauer, Ernst Lubitsch, Ulrich Mühe, Erich Pommer, Liselotte Pulver, Werner Schroeter, Til Schweiger, Wolfgang Staudt, Jost Vacano, Hans Zimmer.
The visitors receive "magic cameras", where the honored person seems to float above the brass star devoted to him. An autograph is engraved in the board which can be traced paper by visitors with pencil and.
During the Berlinale in february a star has already been uncovered for Marlene Dietrich (1901-1992).
The boulevard at the film museum is to be a growing monument Iike its archetype. Next year ten new stars are supposed to come here.
There are temporarily about 2500 film technicians eternalized at the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
